For International Patients

You are travelling a long way to see us, so nothing about your visit should be a guess. Here is everything you need to plan it — from your first message to the day you fly home.

The four things visitors ask first

  • You will be understood

Our doctors consult in English directly. 中文 and 日本語 can be arranged — tell us your language in your first message and it is ready on the day.

  • Four minutes from the subway

We are on Gangnam-daero, a 4-minute walk from Exit 3 of Sinnonhyeon Station (Line 9) or Nonhyeon Station (Line 7). Easy from any hotel in Seoul.

  • Your card works here

International credit cards are accepted and prices are in Korean won (₩).

  • We do not stop at the airport

You leave with written aftercare in your language, and the coordinator who looked after you stays reachable once you are home.

Care in your own language

Describing a skin concern is hard enough in your first language. Our doctors consult in English themselves, rather than through a relay, so you can say what actually bothers you, ask why something is being recommended, and change your mind.

中文 and 日本語 support can be arranged in advance, and your QD AI Lumora skin report is issued in your language too. Tell us which one you would like when you first write to us and we will schedule your visit around it.

Your visit, step by step

Five steps — and the first two happen before you board the plane.

  1. 1

    Write to us

Tell us what bothers you, your language, and roughly when you will be in Seoul. One coordinator picks up your message and stays with you from here on.

  2. 2

    Talk it through online

We discuss what you want to change and what is realistic before you travel, so your trip is built around a treatment you have already talked about — not around a guess.

  3. 3

    Skin analysis on the day

QD AI Lumora reads your skin with professional measuring equipment and produces a report you can read yourself. It is for reference; the diagnosis is your doctor’s.

  4. 4

    Consultation and treatment

Your doctor examines you, explains the options and their limits, and agrees the plan with you before anything begins. Most non-surgical treatments are carried out the same day.

  5. 5

    Aftercare, and home

You leave with written aftercare and a follow-up plan in your language. If anything worries you afterwards, message the same person who looked after you here.

How many days should I stay?

A rough guide for booking flights. Your doctor confirms the timing at consultation.

  • One day is often enough

Many non-invasive treatments are done in a single visit. Allow around half a day at the clinic for consultation, skin analysis and the treatment itself.

  • Leave a few days spare

Some treatments leave redness or swelling for a while. If you have a wedding, a shoot or a flight straight afterwards, say so in advance and we will plan around it.

  • Some plans need a second visit

Surgery and course-based treatments need a check-up. We tell you before you book whether that means staying longer or coming back another time.

Recovery differs from person to person and side effects can occur. This page is general information, not a medical diagnosis — your treatment and its timing are decided after examination by our doctors.

Getting to the clinic

  • From Incheon (ICN) or Gimpo (GMP)

Take the airport limousine bus or the AREX train into central Seoul, then a taxi or the subway to Gangnam. Allow around 90 minutes from Incheon.

  • From a hotel in Gangnam

A short taxi ride, or a few stops on the subway. Our map and full address are on the Location page — show it to your driver and you are done.

  • By subway

Sinnonhyeon Station (Line 9) or Nonhyeon Station (Line 7), Exit 3, then a 4-minute walk along Gangnam-daero. Valet parking is available if you come by car.

Q&A

Everything About QD Clinic, at a Glance.

  • Yes — and we would rather you did. Send us photos and a description of what bothers you on WhatsApp, WeChat, LINE or KakaoTalk, and we will tell you what is likely to suit you, roughly what it would cost, and how much time you would need in Seoul.

That way you decide about the trip with the answers in hand. The final plan is always confirmed after our doctors examine you at the clinic.

  • Consultation is available in English directly with our doctors, so nothing has to pass through a third person. 中文 and 日本語 support can be arranged when you tell us in advance.

Please mention your language in your very first message. It costs you one line and it means the right person is scheduled for the day you come.

  • Visa rules depend on your nationality and how long you plan to stay, so please check your own country’s requirements first — we cannot advise on them for you.

If you need written confirmation of your appointment for a visa application or for time off work, ask us and we will prepare it before you travel.

  • Yes. International credit cards are accepted and all prices are quoted in Korean won (₩).

  • Message the coordinator who looked after you, in the same WhatsApp, WeChat, LINE or KakaoTalk conversation you have been using. Send a photo of what concerns you and our medical team will advise.

Aftercare does not end at the airport. If you need to be seen in person where you live, tell us and we will help you work out what to do.

Tell us your concern. We will take it from there.

You bring the question and the language you want to ask it in.The plan, the timing and the paperwork are our job.
